SongPop Classic - Music Trivia App Reviews

Fairly addictive. Easy to pick up. Its great to find new songs that might interest you. Only issue I have with it is the fact that most of it runs off of micrograms actions. /: (Im not cheap; I simply dont want to invest a large sum to an app Ill only use on occasion.)

PSA: dont download it unless you never want to get homework, work, etc. done

I love this game! Me and my boyfriend play it before bed together back to back! Its fun watching him lose and it brings back a whole bunch of memories with all the old songs!

This game freeking ROCKS! And SOULS and JAZZES... I always read reviews prior to downloading apps; hope you do too. But Im confused about the complaints Im reading for SongPop... Yes, there are ads in this FREE version. All SW ads are annoying. Ads in SP actually get *shorter* and easier to quickly dismiss the longer I play the game. When an ad has a timer, it gives me a second OR SIX to rearrange my feet or let the cat out or ANYTHING but complain about it... I rarely experience lags or delays, the exception being Friday and Saturday nights when probably *ALL* my fellow losers on Earth are playing too!!! But thats the nature of the entire INTERNET. Hello??? Only so much bandwidth from *your* provider... I have NEVER spent a cent on this or any other game (the phone cost over 500 bucks; it better entertain me!!!). I find the rewards on SP to be very generous! Playlists have a "retail" price of 399; I own 25+ all without spending a dime. (And, FYI, youre offered a discount of 100 coins if you purchase a list immediately after your free preview.) The ONLY gripes I have about this game are that I cant use their coins to buy party tickets AND the chat feature is cheesy. Peeps; take all opinions with a grain of salt. Even mine! And remember; Haters gon Hate. In my world, SongPop is tied for First Place in free iOS games. Peace!

this game is extremely fun with music from decades ago up to today. perfect for any age. I always plug my headphones in and play everywhere I go. I suggest you get it! its so good it shouldnt be free.

Its fun to play. I end up spending way more time than I should on it. Really kills your battery though. And I wish it were easier to earn coins.

Im ok with the ad banner, and even most ads between songs- if theres a way to exit off long annoying ads, but the one with this new stupid Dwarfs game is just too long and annoying and no way to close it. It has to be played all the way through. And now its the only ad played, so you dont even get a change of scenery between each game. Very frustrating for a game with such potential.

But there are ads after ads after ads since you updated it and yeah I get it its ok to have a few ads here and there but not every freaking time you play a game you guys need to cut it back some please

No dedication to one of the greatest artists of all time! Why?! You have everyone else! Not even a tribute & I dont even see any of his songs on any playlists. If I have it was very scarce since I cant remember. If I dont see my favorite artist on this app game real soon I will not be contributing or supporting it any longer. I will remove from all devices & spread the word!

The biggest bug in this game isnt a bug. Its the fact they use fake competitors. I have no interest in competing against an AI opponent whose score is designed to be competitive, but not overly so. I guess the developers didnt want people to be left without opponents so they made up some. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth to have discovered this after so many weeks of thinking that was actually playing a game against a human. Sorry, Sara M, it was fun while it lasted.

These lengthy ads are getting ridiculous. Double tapping the home button, closing out SongPop and reopening the app is more efficient than sitting through these ads. Greedy developers! Its too bad because the game itself is excellent.
